the three most important things about Land of the Heavans
Summer
Congratulations to LOTH for a new layout! Oh, and congratulations to our first winners for the "best of the best". As usual pony is claiming that the layout is "a work in progress", and promises to do a great job for when it is finally done, with the quote "I have big plans for LOTH". She also asks for everyone to comment somewhere in the c-box, and to please give suggestions for the side bar, as she also wishes for it to be as long as the forum "for the purpose of aesthetics". The best of the best is an open awards system. If anyone wishes to nominate for a category, please PM the admin, and the entrant will be judged. Please do not nominate yourself! the ice of winter has arrivedAnd on time this time! Winter in the Land of the Heavans is an unusual affair. The eucalyptus trees are ones that have never chosen to loose their leaves, no matter how cold the season. And, as these amazing plants dominate the landscape, Land of the Heavans has become a stunning sea of snow and leaves. Winds are common in winter, sometimes whipping up blizzards so strong that it is impossible to see one's own feet. Only the valleys of the mountains remain unchanged, and the valley of the night is devoid of harsh winds. a new month has arrived, and with it, it is Summer! Beaware of fires, long grass and snakes. The herd of the sun is now (generally) a stronger and more dangerous herd, although the strength has not enlightened them in any way! beware the herd of the sun!Pony has gone crazy... again. as a result, she has spent her time improving the site, you will now find a word count, and functioning "money" to play with - however the rewards are not cheap! and... the new layout! thankyou to inthename-stock@deviantart.com for the background, which has been slightly modified to suit. If anyone has more ideas for the improvement of the site, do not hesitate to PM the admin.
In the tales of old, there once was a land. A land of legend, it was said, that was a table cloth upon a table; so high that it was part of the heavens themselves. Protecting the land were treacherous cliffs, steep inclines and tor upon rocky tor. Select few actually knew of the safe paths into the land, and those that found their way, were considered to be blessed by fate herself.
The land itself was one of beauty mystery and magic, filled with creatures and plants as old as the very land they walked upon. The mere sight of life in this land would have startled most old worlders, for it contained creatures like none other.

Juno 3 years 15.2hh Mare Coat of bay tobiano Eyes of fierce, dark brown No markings Juno is an incredibly arrogant young mare. The fact that she is fairly good-looking doesn't help that at all, of course... however, she is exceedingly arrogant, even for a good-looking mare. She seems to think that the world should revolve around her and that everyone should worship her, and that anything she isn't involved in is a scandal or a plot hatched to bring her down. However, she can also sometimes be fun to be around... she has no limitations, which means she is both outrageous and impulsive, which can be fun at some times.
Celestial element: Miranda Terrestrial element:
Plots involved in: None ATM Herd: Once was Neptune, now is loner Herd Status: Foals: None
History: Juno was born into the herd of Neptune, and from the beginning she was different from the other foals. First off, she was much more prideful and vain, although, not without good reason, for she was undoubtedly one of the prettier fillies... and secondly, she absolutely, absolutely hated being in the herd of Neptune. Many disliked her, but there was one filly in particular, by the name of Caoimhe, who was one year younger than her, that seemed to practically worship her. Caoimhe seemed to incredibly admire Juno for both her confidence and her beauty, which didn't do anything for her already overinflated ego. However, the moment she was old enough she took off to find a suitable herd for herself, not some crazy mountain-climbing herd that never talked to any other herd. Caoimhe's admiration was so great that, although she was a Neptunian at heat, the younger mare left with her... which really didn't do anything for Juno's haughtiness either.
However, even a fierce and confident young mare like herself could barely defend both she and Caoimhe from a gang of vulgar Sun stallions wishing to take their pleasures from such young, pretty, and defenseless mares. That was when Madame and her two children came in, and the stallions were soon shooed off. Although it killed Juno's pride to admit that she needed help being protected, she and Caoimhe nonetheless began traveling with Madame, Jour, and Peu.
By now, they have been together for quite awhile, and Madame Chanceuse loves her and Coimhe quite as much as her own children.
The Rules of the C-BoxSimple really: Use your name, and no other. Do not abuse others. Do not swear or use profane language. Ignore pony's tyop's. Otherwise, enjoy!
