the three most important things about Land of the Heavans
Summer
Congratulations to LOTH for a new layout! Oh, and congratulations to our first winners for the "best of the best". As usual pony is claiming that the layout is "a work in progress", and promises to do a great job for when it is finally done, with the quote "I have big plans for LOTH". She also asks for everyone to comment somewhere in the c-box, and to please give suggestions for the side bar, as she also wishes for it to be as long as the forum "for the purpose of aesthetics". The best of the best is an open awards system. If anyone wishes to nominate for a category, please PM the admin, and the entrant will be judged. Please do not nominate yourself! the ice of winter has arrivedAnd on time this time! Winter in the Land of the Heavans is an unusual affair. The eucalyptus trees are ones that have never chosen to loose their leaves, no matter how cold the season. And, as these amazing plants dominate the landscape, Land of the Heavans has become a stunning sea of snow and leaves. Winds are common in winter, sometimes whipping up blizzards so strong that it is impossible to see one's own feet. Only the valleys of the mountains remain unchanged, and the valley of the night is devoid of harsh winds. a new month has arrived, and with it, it is Summer! Beaware of fires, long grass and snakes. The herd of the sun is now (generally) a stronger and more dangerous herd, although the strength has not enlightened them in any way! beware the herd of the sun!Pony has gone crazy... again. as a result, she has spent her time improving the site, you will now find a word count, and functioning "money" to play with - however the rewards are not cheap! and... the new layout! thankyou to inthename-stock@deviantart.com for the background, which has been slightly modified to suit. If anyone has more ideas for the improvement of the site, do not hesitate to PM the admin.
In the tales of old, there once was a land. A land of legend, it was said, that was a table cloth upon a table; so high that it was part of the heavens themselves. Protecting the land were treacherous cliffs, steep inclines and tor upon rocky tor. Select few actually knew of the safe paths into the land, and those that found their way, were considered to be blessed by fate herself.
The land itself was one of beauty mystery and magic, filled with creatures and plants as old as the very land they walked upon. The mere sight of life in this land would have startled most old worlders, for it contained creatures like none other.

Dierdre and Dominique - Princesses of Gemini « Thread Started on May 24, 2008, 3:43pm »
Dierdre 1 year 14hh (When full grown) Filly She has a palomino coat Blaze and front left stocking, back left sock Dierdre is a very sweet, talkative, and outgoing young filly. However, she is also very oversensitive, unworldly, and naive, which can be rather annoying and amusing in turns. Other information: None
Dominique 1 year 14.2hh (When full grown) Filly She has a palomino coat Blaze and two back stockings Dominique has always been the "different" one. She is unusually quiet, and only speaks if she absolutely needs to... however, her parents know that she is really an unusually intellectual and thoughtful young filly. She and her cousin Ambarwen get along greatly, although she is still rather silent and unresponsive even around him. Other information: It is suspected by her parents and by her aunt and uncle that her constellation might be different than that of her herd. However, they have kept it quiet since it would be an absolutely scandal, should it be discovered the Princess wasn't even truly a Gemini.
History: The princesses were born just a short time after the princes. Their cousins, having been born first, were dubbed the official heirs. However, the two sisters never really minded... The simple life of a high-ranked mare has been expected for both of them. However, the stars may say otherwise...
The Rules of the C-BoxSimple really: Use your name, and no other. Do not abuse others. Do not swear or use profane language. Ignore pony's tyop's. Otherwise, enjoy!
